Session Fees

Insurance companies require psychologists to provide diagnoses and confidential information related to the client in order to dictate the type and course of treatment. Our team values our clients’ confidentiality and prefer to individualize therapy  in order to meet the unique needs and experiences of each individual we work with. In order to uphold individual privacy, insurance is not accepted. However, many individuals choose to submit their own receipts to their insurance carriers for out-of-network reimbursement. Simons Therapy can provide receipts that can be submitted directly to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to fully understand your benefits.

The fee for a 50 minute individual therapy session ranges from $170 to $250, depending on the provider. Couples & Family therapy sessions are 75 minutes and the fee varies by provider. We offer reduced fee appointments on a sliding scale for those in need, contact Dr. Simons for more information. Credit cards and health spending account cards (HSA) are accepted and payment is due at the time of service.

Psychological Assessment Fees

Each person requires a different set of assessment procedures. Please contact Simons Therapy for an initial appointment in order to determine which tests are needed, approximate duration of testing, and fee structure.

Psychological Assessment Appointments can not be booked online. Fill out the form below or call 720-772-6915 to request an appointment.

Good Faith Estimates

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate”explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
