Dr. Alex Lengerich

I have expertise working as a licensed psychologist with adults experiencing various psychological concerns. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, insomnia, substance use, trauma, OCD, and health psychology. I believe in a collaborative and client-centered approach that aims to help clients build insight, capitalize on their strengths, and empower them to make positive changes in their lives. My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. I enjoy working with clients to help them reduce their distress and achieve their goals.  

 Experience: I have years of experience conducting both group and individual therapy with adults in variety of different settings. In addition to my work at Simons Therapy, I work serving veterans with substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety concerns in the Denver area. I completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at the James A. Haley VAMC in Tampa, FL specializing in health psychology and integrated healthcare.
